TROPEA
Is one of the most sophisticated touristic seaside resorts in Italy, centre of international attraction just like Taormina and Portofino. Tropea was a Greek colony, after Roman and Norman colony. Near the small harbour were founded remains of necropolis and Greek constructions. Typical is the islet of Santa Maria with the sanctuary of Santa Maria dell’Isola at the top. Attractive is to go in search of ancient portals and aerial balconies on its narrow streets. Tropea is world-famous also for “cipolla rossa” besides tourism.
PIZZO
Is one of the most attractive and well-know small towns of Vibonese, with one of the most charming small village of the coast. Pizzo is on a promontory high up above the Tirreno Sea, in the middle of the Golfo of Sant’Eufemia. The centre of this small town is rich in medieval views, elegant residences, ancient Churches including that of Piedigrotta excavated in the tuff. The most interesting repertory is the Aragonese Castle (national monument) in which Gioacchino Murat was imprisoned and executed. Pizzo is renewed for the production of a typical ice-cream: the “tartufo”.
SERRA SAN BRUNO
Is in the middle of Serre Calabresi. Since 1091 is one of the most important spiritual centres in Italy and in the world. The main object for tourist is the famous Certosa in a wood in the periphery of the small – town. This place, full of mystical beauty, is destination of pilgrimage both for prayer and to deal with the pure nature characterized by millenary forest of firs and sources of water. Attractive are eighteen-century buildings with wrought iron balconies, excellent portals and lithic frontispieces.
SCILLA

Is placed on a promontory at the entrance of the Strait of Messina. Scilla is an important seaside resort to the north of Reggio Calabria. This place is one of the most beautiful and sophisticated small villages in Italy; destination of artists of each age and nationality, it is a popular summer destination of ancient origins between mythology, history, legend and poetic images increased by the fascination of natural environment. Scilla is the most important Calabrian centre for swordfish fishing.
REGGIO CALABRIA
Is the first Calabrian city for antiquity, territorial expansion and inhabitants. Reggio is disposed in a linear way along the Calabrian coast of the Strait of Messina. In the middle of an important, historic and cultural touristic area. In the local culture is identified as the exact centre of Mediterraneo Sea. Its numerous and millenary civilizations have enriched the ancient history, culture and spirit of population. Very important is the National Museum of Magna Grecia in which are keep the famous Bronzi of Riace.
LOCRI
Locri is a town of 12.000 inhabitants in the province of Reggio Calabria. It is the administrative, cultural and religious centre of Locride, on the coast of Ionian Sea. Attractive are the archaeological area situated at about 3 km South of the commune, the archeological remains of temples, of theatres and of the boundary walls of Magna Grecia epoch and above all of the visit of Museum “Aquarium” that shows archaeological founds of Hellenic, Magna Grecia and Roman epoch.
GERACE
Gerace that has today a medieval charm still, is situated in loud of National Park of Aspromonte. The ancient village is full of Churches, old mansions, excavated in the rock. It can be admired a castle and a Cathedral of Norman epoch.
STILO
Commune of 2.742 inhabitants in the province of Reggio Calabria. Stilo in its history has enumerated eighteen Churches, a lots lost after earthquake of 1783. Destination of touristic visits is the Church “Cattolica”, the Greek-Byzantine temple with copulas is a national monuments dating back to the 10th century.
SILA GRANDE
Beautiful high plain with forests containing pine poplar and beech trees as well as birds of prey, roe deer, squirrels and Apennine wolfs.
SILA PICCOLA
High plain abounding with conifers and a variety of flowers and wildlife. The deer and fallow deer reserve is of notable importance.
